A much used spot for hitching out of Knoxville. When I was there, the side of the road was littered with signs of people who had hitched there before, and it's right next to a large truck stop. It's very useful to have a sign that indicates whether you are going to be taking I-40 or I-75.―Anonymous

This entry is not busy at all. I had to give up after 2 hours and ask drivers directly in the nearby gas station. There I could get a ride 40 miles west, to a more convenient location.―Anonymous
