This is a broad 2-lane ramp with loads of cars. I couldn't rest my thumb for a second cause cars were continuously flowing. I got a ride to west of Nashville after 30 mins.―Anonymous

waited a while, got lucky with a ride all the way to Chattanooga but only because driver was trying to help me out. started Friday morning around 8am. if you are not able to get to a farther spot, it will work, but beware that traffic is mostly very local.―disposessed
