At the train station, I asked bluntly to the train clerk if he would let me hitchhike the local train. He was very nice and accepted right away, although he wasn't totally allowed to do it.Always worth to ask !

Gave up after two hours waiting there, as sun sets. Trying to head West towards Harrisburg.Has a large shoulder and good traffic, but the spot is a bit downhill from the last traffic lights and drivers can't see you before last second
