A guy took us here because the other road to Switzerland had been blocked by a small landslide. It is a beautiful spot, you can even join onto a hiking trail from here. There was a toad migration, so watch your feet or you'll be massacring them. Someone took us to the valley immediately.

Good spot for going west! Met the first other hitchhiker and we hitchhiked to a gas station near Linz together. It took one an a half hour to get a lift, but there was plenty of space for the cars to stop so it should eventually go quicker to find one.

Sleep at Darak beach one of the most unique places, then walk on the sand to the pier road, find a motorbike ride to this village intersection. Here an Iranian backpacker was also waiting, takes some time to convince cars to stop. Meanwhile he played with the children nearby. Going to Chabahar you need multiple rides and sleep one night somewhere, actually I almost got a direct ride offer from Minab to Chabahar but the small fisherman van didn't have enough space. I came here by 1dollar taxi from Bandar Abbas east of city center starting to walk very early until i got a good deal even cheaper than Snapp online taxis. Here i waited a bit and I got a ride to Minab, continued to Jask where the driving couple offered me a full big apartment for the night.

Direction: Gdansk Hitchhikers: 2, male Time: 20:30 Nice petrol station, there is also a McDonalds, however the whole area is surrounded by a fence, so it‘s very difficult to get in or out. A lot of cars, all going north, some as far as Gdansk and Gdynia, so you have a good chance of cathcing a far ride. As on every petrol station, it‘s the best to ask people around. Shout out to @gdziewpolscenaweekend who took us all the way to Gdansk and took care of us.

I was going south, trucks are all headed east through Cologne and most passenger cars were headed north. One driver took pity and drove me out of his way to get me south. He said he told a friend over the phone there was a hitchhiker and the friend dared him to give the lift, it was his first time. Safety note: a 5 passenger car with 5 male occupants attempted to get me to give them money for a ride at this spot, even though they clearly didn't have space. They became belligerent when I declined, until they saw other people watching and sped away. I made a point of chatting with as people as possible after this in case they came back.

However "služba drogowa" banned us from standing on the slip road, there are no shoulders of the road and the roundabout doesn‘t make it easier. On the petrol station are mostly locals, so they won‘t take you anywere either. No cars stopped to us, after three hours of asking around, changing spots, signs - we were so desperate to get to the highway that we even tried another direction - with no success, we set off to the nearest petrol station on the highway, which is eight kilometres by walk. We recommend trying to hitchhike a car along the way, we managed to do it.

Very good place. WiFi, bathroom and place to set up the tent in the field behind the aria de servicio. I arrived there late night, but in the field you can find some spots quite hidden and sleep till relatively late if you want, the field doesn't look like the type of field where the farmer goes everyday, quite the opposite.
