Followed other users advice. Spot is OK, although cars are moving fast and have to decide late whether to stop for you on the small gravel area before the freeway. After 30 mins we got offered a lift to padrón, 25km further south. It was a mistake to accept, there was only local traffic here. Recommend if using this spot, wait until you get offered a lift till Pontevedra or further, nothing closer.

Were dropped off here as a part of our trip to Weliko Tarnowo Велико Търново. Didn’t look to promising, we started asking people. Not a lot spoke English. We had a sign for the place and bought a cheap but pretty tasty coffee. Then a woman approached us and said she is going all the way to Weliko Tarnowo. So i guess we were really lucky but still a good place to ask people for a ride

With a sign it worked after 5 min, had a sign to Weliko Tarnowo ( written in bulgarian Велико Търново) and a guy took us 45 min in the direction and dropped us off at a gas station on the highway

Perfect spot to hitchhike south, people can easily pull over on the side of the road. Got a lift to Cahul in less than one minute.
An advice : don't go to the fake authentic Gagauz museum and restaurant just nearby. It's awfully kitsh and full of organized tours tourists, not at all a cheap authentic local place

This is a shitty spot to get north but there is some traffic to Hamburg I always prefer being dropped at a gas station or resting area where it's just one direction so if you have the opportunity for that do that
I waited in the evening so there wasn't much traffic to Flensburg so I ended up waiting more than 2 hours until it got dark but luckily there is a resting area 2km away to which I just walked where I slept in my tent
In the morning I got a ride from there on in less than a minute (but even though I got lucky with that I would usually just ask people to bring you to the next bigger gas station with better traffic and try to get a long ride from there on)
So if you have the chance try to get dropped off there or at some gas station before this place
And DONT trust people who never hitchhiked before in saying which spots are good to get the next ride had to learn it the hard way
But if you're already there keep up the smile and good luck and keep in mind even if it doesn't work out you can just walk to the next better spot you're going to get a ride sooner or later anyways :)

If your heading to Denmark always watch out to get dropped at the next gas station especially if you're used the the frequency of German gas stations because there aren't many
Usually it's way easier to get a ride at a gas station than it is in a city so better get dropped off 40km before and being at a gas station than taking this 40km ride (just trust me i learnt it the hard way)

Maybe I was just lucky but it took me ten minutes to catch a ride to Ohrid. Traffic is visibly higher than at the border thanks to people coming from monastery. Also I recommend you to stand not here but behind the bridge as this gives you better visibility than standing right at the curve

Entrance to the highway is still blocked but we got lucky with a driver who didn't know that (on the highway sign for the rasthof there's no information about that lol) he took us to michendorf and we got there around the time we would have gotten there if taking public transport to there instead to Grunewald. At the Grunewald the traffic is as low as at Michendorf but barely anyone goes on the highway.

We as couple tried to catch a ride to Innsbruck, the place turned to be a horror for us, we tried very long time but there were not so many cars in this direction. Someone told us that this is not the most common route to Innsbruck and people going through Munich go rather another way, I believe he was right because this is how it exactly looked for us. Even though it was not summer many cars were fully packed.
