I was stopping with sing Koper and aster a minute or two an o older guy pulled over at the gas station and took me to Izolo (city right next to Koper)Also during the time I standed there a guy on bike recommended to try the spot next to highway entry few km ahead that people usually hitchhike there.

was waiting 5 hours before was picked. 85% italians, their mentality doesn't let them to pick hitchhikers, even tough im italian as well and was with a girl. the place is perfect, but difficult to get a ride, and the border officers were quite unfriendly―Anonymous
