Un très bon spot pour aller direction Paris. J'ai été prise en moins de 5 minutes pour un trajet direct vers Paris.

A very good spot to go to Paris. I found a direct ride to Paris in 5 minutes.

Taken by Jérémy. A lot of local people that doesn't go that far.

I agree that it's a really weird spot and it was mostly locals but there's space to stand at the side of the turnaround (if a bit windy, also no shelter, so not a spot for bad weather) and cars can stop too. With a sign to Paris we (2ppl) found a ride to Aulnay within half an hour and from there taking the train into Paris proper was pretty easy (and cheap.)

The first car I asked was a lovely Parisian family who took me to the suburbs of Paris from here.

Long to reach, just like all the good spots to get out of Paris.
I also had three offers for a ride to Meaux, which can be interesting since cars have to cross the toll to get there.

I got taken there from Reims. Very little traffic, I thought I was gonna be there for long, but someone stopped and took me to a banlieu of Paris after about 15min

Standing there (2 people) with a sign over an hour, and many who stopped went only a very short distance until one was willing to take us to the Aire des Ferrières.

Always a good spot for going North to Paris/Le Mans

A bit long to get here but simple (just RER to Bussy St George and just walk, better than going to Vémars).
A kind worker took us (we were 2) to the station near the end.
We found an old couple who took us to Reims, good people.
Good place to go east, I also want to try if by I can go to Brussel easier from Paris by starting here compared to Vémars maybe.

Waited around an hour with a sign that said Germany, changed it to Reims and got a ride in 45 minutes. It was raining which made the wait unpleasant and long.

To get here from Paris take RER Bussy-Saint-Georges and then walk All. des Bois de Bussy to get on the south side of the highway, then just jump the fence and walk couple hundred meters along the highway to the Aire.
We were 2 guys waiting near the exit from the Aire with a sign for Reims and a guy eating lunch approached us saying he could take us to exit 21 for Dormans but when he realised there were not many people passing by this peage he offered he could take us to Reims or to Epernay train station. We chose the latter and got a sightseeing tour of the city and region, then took a train to Reims.

Not a very good spot and very illegal but enough space for cars to pull over and take you. Take the bus to Mondeville and just jump the fence behind the Cinema. You can also sleep between the trees then just hitchhike in the morning, we had a tent and had no problems.
We were 2 guys standing with a sign for Paris and got a ride to 19th district.

Not a good one, but it's the beginnning of the high-way. Be careful of the people who stopped.
Good to go to the est (Strasbourg, Germany, ...)

you really need a paper with your destination here, to go to east its a good point, because drivers can stop here (it's a little bit place there), look at your time, when there is the typical traffic jam people can better stop and need someone to talk, without traffic jam I needed an hour!
