There is a good spot after the right turn on M27 just outside town. It took no longer than 1 minute to get a ride towards Novy Afon.―Anonymous

Long straight section of road after the train station. Not perfect for cars to stop but there is no traffic so it's no problem. I hh'd towards Sukhum. It took no more than 5 minutes for me.―Anonymous
