Pretty decent spot in case of an emergency, but if you are coming from the south, don't fuck up like me and get off at the Shell gas station a few kilometers south (destination). I stood here in a high-vis vest, and a guy took me back to that shell station I missed.―martih

I asked people who came out of the restaurant. The first people I asked would have taken me to Stuttgart but I declined. Around the 10th person I asked took me to Karlsruhe. They were really suspicious and didn’t quite understand why I was hitchhiking but it was a very nice ride :)―Arenwithane

Asked around for about 1.5 hours, almost no traffic, so I decided to settle for a ride to Karlsruhe and catching a train to Heidelberg.
