Perfect spot for finding a ride. We just stood with signs right in front of the exit from the parking. Really good for Vienna/Bratislava/Győr direction. We got a very funny ride. The story is not shareable for safety and legal reasons, but it would make a good chapter in traveling book.―Michal

Managed to hitch a ride straight to Romania. Plenty of traffic towards Hungary, Romania and Serbia, especially on fridays and saturdays. Great spot certainly worth the walk from the nearest Bratislava bus stop ("Čunovské jazerá").―suburbandrifter

I hithchiked here on a way from Budapest to Breclav,CZ.There was a huge amount of cars going from Romania to Austria (gastarbeiters). I looked for czech cars. First driver told me they are full and second driver told me he is going to a petrol station in my city (Břeclav is the first czech city behind a border with Slovakia).
I was very lucky. I get in 3 hours from Budapest to Břeclav.
