u can take the bus 43 from the center, sleep on the forest next to highway, ask the restaurant for water and all and hitchhike on the morning

To Saldus and Riga. There is a bus stop (usualy empty), but speed of cars is very offen too high to stop immediatly. So be ready to run a bit after the car stops. :)―Anonymous

A lot of local cars here (mostly going shopping), but enough place for drivers to stop. and you have a nice chanse to get a car to Grobina (town 10 km from Liepaja), where is a good place for hhiking. Write down your destination aim and if you will not get a lift after 20 min - change position.―Anonymous
