Two Gas stations―Anonymous

Little rest stop with bathrooms. Not many cars stopping, so we chose to stay in the entrance with an Oslo sign. Pretty soon a truck driver stopped and took us past Oslo. Four stars because they do go quite fast, and almost nobody stope in the rest stop. But even with rain and bad weather we got lucky.―friki

This gas station in general wasn't the best. Lots of cars, but a lot of locals, thumbs down, bad faces, beeps. Would not recommend. We tried asking in the gas station, in the ev chargers, and then thumbing in the bus stop inside. None worked well. Ended up in this spot, on the slip road direction Oslo. Small space on the side, not that easy to stop as they go quite fast already. A local bus ended up stopping for us (in the middle of the road) and taking us to Moelv.―friki

We wanted to reach Lillehammer, 2 cars stopped each 30 minutes, and offered a ride to Hamar, but we wanted to go a bit further, so after 1,5h a woman offered a lift close to Lillehammer :) (couple)―violonsky

Good spot to go to Elverum.Might be a good idea to take a ride from here to Myklagard, then go south.
OR try out the onramp to E6 heading south - although I have never tried that one.

Difficult to find the exact spot but it was by a rest area on the E6 heading south. Seriously sound guy picked us up. Another fellow hitchhiker, took us to his home in Oslo for a great evening with conversation oozing with awesomeness. Thanks mate!―Anonymous

Perfect spot heading north, lots of time and visibility for drivers to see you and a huge rest area for them to pull into.―Anonymous

We waited under the overpass right on the shoulder of E6 :) plenty of cars in this area.―Anonymous

This gas station is not very busy, but we got pretty far after 1,5h :) just ask everyone.―Anonymous

Good spot for going south, busstop so there is plenty of space for cars to stop. Not too much traffic, but also not isolatet.―Anonymous

Afternoon, waiting time 80 mins, a 109km ride to Hamar, but I jumped off at a gaz station 20 km before Hamar, which is the best decision when you head up to Trondheim. As I always say about this Shell Gaz station - be patient and friendly filter out short local rides if you go far north.

My last ride let me out here and I just couldn't get any further from here.. I waited for over two hours while there was lots of traffic, but there really is no place for a car to stop at all. Also they are kinda distracted going through the roundabout so they don't really notice you. Not a good spot in my opinion. I would rather go a little further away from the highway and try hitchhiking on the nearest bus stop even though there is a little less traffic.―Anonymous

Lot of desapointment, people don't stop for you but for the resting area, impossible to find someone going farer than Lillehamer.―Anonymous
