Previous driver dropped me a couple kms north up the road so I had to walk back all the way while trying to score a ride, but almost as soon as I made it to the roundabout I got a lift! Cool Tajik truck driver (again) who gave me tons of food and drove until his tachometer ran out in Støren. This is the spot to go north!

I mean, kinda? It worked? Not the best though, cos people drive a bit fast. You’re very visible though. Got a ride with a guy going to Hamar, but he went out of his way and dropped me outside of Elverum - cool beans!

Got a ride with a crazy Tajik truck driver guy, tons of fun straight to where I wanted. A great spot to leave Trondheim as the cars drive slow, can see you from ages away and have good space to stop

The best spot in Elverum for catching a ride to Trondheim. You have a roundabout to slow the cars down, lot of space to stop at the petrol station and even the petrol station it self! :-)

Myklegard is a petrol station and hotel. Try to avoid it if possible bed ppl drive very fast there (70 or 90) and don't easily stop

Good spot if you travel West. You might even catch a ride in direction Oslo... but then i guess the gas station would be a better call. There is a bus lane, so cars can stop easily. due to the round about the traffic is pretty slow. Pretty gooood;-)

Great spot for going south to Oslo, we got a hitch to Elverum, maybe worth waiting for a longer ride?

Was going to Trondheim, got a ride to Rena.
This is a perfect spot, much traffic to Trondheim. Maybe you should wait a longer ride to Trondheim.

Perfect spot, close to gas station, a perfect place for camping, bus stop - much space to pull over. May cars go to Elverum and Trysil, maybe to Trondheim road.

A perfect spot if you're heading up to Trondheim. Many cars going from Oslo to Trondheim prefer this road. The spot is good - enough space to pull out, right after roundabout, the drivers see you well.

I got stuck there on a cold and rainy night. A car going to Hamar stopped, but it was not on my way. After an hour came a police car, we had a nice chat and they recommended me to wait and get warm in McDonalds, which is 24/7 open. The police was worried about me staying next to a 80-90km/h lane, which is next to the roundabout. Technically this spot is good, but the combination of darkness (there are lights there) and a Norwegian rain was not perfect in their opinion. But McDonalds was a good choice.

A perfect stop if you head up to Trondheim or Elverum, enough space to pull out, just after the roundabout - drivers clearly see you. There is a gaz station and a super market there.

Traffic going to Hamar, Rena, Oslo. IN case you got stuck on night or rainy weather, wait in McDonalds, which is 24/7 open. The staff there is nice, be nice to them too :) I spent a rainy cold night there till 6am and got a ride to Oslo in 45 minutes. Before it cars to Hamar and Rena stopped.

My favourite spot! 10 minutes wait on Saturday afternoon and a long ride to Elverum.
