Cars go rather slow on this curvy mountain road through Krowiarki Pass, you will possibly see 1-2 cars/min (6 PM). We (4 person) were walking by and trying to catch a lift to Zawoja-Policzne. First 2 of us got a lift after 15min, and another 2 - 90sec after them :). Most of cars go to Zawoja (lesser amount of cars go to Zubrzyca - another direction), I don't think you would catch a lift from here further than to Maków Podhalański/Sucha Beskidzka (or Jabłonka - another direction).―Anonymous

Many cars passing, not going very fast. After about 10 minutes of walking with sign "BABIA" (indicating that we want to get to Zawoja which is located below mountain of Babia Góra) and thumbing at passing cars we got a lift to Zawoja :). I think you could also easily get a lift here to Jordanów or Rabka. :)―Anonymous

Small petrol station, but the cars are not going too fast so you can try to stick out your thumb too :). After less than 5min of asking me and my friend got a lift to Wadowice. The driver was going even further to Oświęcim. I think it's also quite easy to get a lift to Kraków from here.―Anonymous

Direction: krakow / crakowCars drive slowly. I used this spot twice in the morning on sundays during summer. I waited first time 5 min and secound time 20 minutes.

I was waiting at the begining of the gas station with Poland sign. Not much traffic but every car are going towards Poland. (1 girl). Nice views tho :)―Anonymous
