I think it's good that you can have a sign as you are catching traffic going towards many directions. There is some space next to roundebad and also possible on highway entrence itself. Still I think I got quite lucky with getting ride so quick―Autostopeks

Space for stopping isn't perfect as sometimes it's blocked by cars getting on main road but even so works quite well. I stood here with SB sign I got from previous driver but got lucky and got ride to Sebes. I think it's good spot for Sibiu after all―Autostopeks

After a year, I returned to this gas station. The story was similar, but it wasn't that late at night, and I managed to find a couple near Sibiu. Also, I met a pair of hitchhikers here, so it's likely a frequent spot. Overall, I believe this is a good spot for Sibiu and Bucharest.―martih

Very first car stopped, but was only going to Aiud. I waited (with regret) for another 90 min, until someone took me to Turda. Nonetheless, it might still be a good place to hitch out of Alba Iulia to the north. Petrol pump with place to stop for passing traffic as well―Merl

Locals were also hitching here. Relatively quick someone suddenly stopped (probably because he realised I was a foreigner). He was driving to Cluj, I got out before. Not a bad spot for going west. Lots of place to stop, and closer to the city than if you start near the highway. Male/thumb―Merl
