direction caceres, dropped by a lift from madridfriday afternoon
its a big station. laods of trucks go for the restaurant, and quite a nice flow of cars at the petrol station
ive been asking everyone across station and restaurant, until 3 chicos going to WOMAD festival (which i was unaware lucky me) drove me all the way to caceres!

Actually i use that spot just to go to Badajoz, it is very close. There isn't too much long-traffic on this road so if you want to go to Sevilla, it will be better to go to Merida (you can use the bus, it is very cheap ~4€ ) and take a better spot there.―Iwan1989

I used that spot to go to Alcuéscar, a town between Cáceres and Mérida. A lot of people pass by but they drive fast and it isn't a very good place to stop the car. One disadvantage is that is that you have to walk for one hour from the city center. Local people caught me.―Pabloml

A good place to wait to go to Sevilla from Caceres. We waited by the road before the roundabout, because drivers can choose two roads. There is enough place to stop. One hour walk from the city center, Caceres is pretty small.―Anonymous
