A truck driver leant out the window and shouted “(something)(something) Livuhpeewl”. I couldn’t understand through the thick scouse accent. He might’ve been going to Liverpool. Along with every other driver for the next three hours. I abandoned my Edinburgh sign as the sun was setting and finally thumbed a lift to Glasgow before I gave up hope―Breno

High traffic due to Easter. Had a lot of friendly people approach me and ask about hitchhiking. After a while a lovely couple came over and offered a lift to the Lake District. They kindly went a bit out of their way and dropped me off just over the border―Breno
