Plenty of space to stop in long layby as cars climb hill, slightly hidden from view by sign but plenty of traffic heading east in Leeds direction

I've stopped here twice while hitchhiking south from Scotland to London. First time got a ride to Birmingham, and the second time to London. Both pretty quickly. Plus the services are comfortable, with free toilets, charging sockets etc. I would definitely stop here again when looking for a longer-distance ride.
