Very active service station. Had no trouble finding a ride standing at the exit. In 10 minutes I was offered 2 rides to Zurich but I declined and the 3rd few minutes after took me past Bern. Probably possible to find rides to Lausanne and Geneva if you're lucky.―VeikkaK

Direction North or SouthThis is the way to Bulle. On the Roundabout, you can stand without danger, people would stop. But the one who took me made me a sign to go at the gas station because he didn't want to stop on the roundabout. Any case good place to hh to Lausanne or Bern

For the first sight this seemed like a place where you stay for ages because it isn't a busy station even though it serves both of the directions. But I got a ride to Lausanne quite fast (maybe it was good luck)―Lorcs

Good spot to Lausanne (I rode from Bern, somebody picked me off here), waited 10 minutes and got straight ride to Lausanne, many many cars going.―Anonymous

This spot just doesn't work. The cars cannot stop along the whole road. The south side of this highway access is much better, however it takes some time to cross the highway (it's forbidden and rather dangerous to cross via this bridge, so you have to use the other bridge in the west).Somehow, we managed to being picked up on the parking lot, but this was pure luck and the person just dropped us at the next highway exit (Matran) which we can really recommend.

A great spot with lots of traffic. Drivers can stop at the petrol station and the small jams at the round-about allowes direct communication. We used the spot during the 10th Swiss Hitchhiking Championship and got a ride to Bulle.The large shopping center (a new one just opened its doors as we stopped here) may bring some local traffic to this spot, which may be a plus for medium distances.

It's a very shady place to hitchhike there. To get there you need to walk a lot, climb over the fence and run through very active road. It's not allowed to hitchhike there, but there are no other good options, but possible to go futher to Bulle/Geneva―bogdanpanow

Good spot. Be careful! You have to go over 2 fences to get there and one of them is electrified! I got hurt pretty badly and my muscles were hurt for next 3 days. But got a ride to Lausanne―bogdanpanow

Very good spot to get far rides, because all the tourists from chateau de gruyère pass here. Nice place to stop for cars, but they can't see you from very far. Still, they are going slow and have reasonable time to pull over. We got lucky with a direct ride to geneva.―Anonymous
