Immediately after we started hitchhiking lovely chap stopped and took us directly to Hunedoara's castle through beautiful hilly countryside. Note - this route is perhaps significantly slower then via Calan if u wanted go to highway in Deva. Plus in this point is not much room for cars to stop.―johnni

Right after intersection, good spot for cars to pull over. A lot of traffic heading West to Caransebes, good for short rides. waited 5-10 mins―Anonymous
