Immediately after we started hitchhiking lovely chap stopped and took us directly to Hunedoara's castle through beautiful hilly countryside. Note - this route is perhaps significantly slower then via Calan if u wanted go to highway in Deva. Plus in this point is not much room for cars to stop.―johnni

Right after intersection, good spot for cars to pull over. A lot of traffic heading West to Caransebes, good for short rides. waited 5-10 mins―Anonymous

This is a good spot if you are on this end of the city or you are dropped here. Plenty of space to stop after the roundabout, cars going slow. Still better tough to hitch before DEva towards the highway if you have the possibility to choose―Anonymous
